i hv a 1GB ram, 100 GB hdd computer, but while rendering the output from 3dsmax, it is taking more than 10 hours for 5 minutes rendering.
Can somebody suggest me a solution to speed up this process?

Industry standard for a personal comp (osx or win) being used for any designer work (adobe, autodesk, etc.) is to have at least 4GB of RAM at the highest speeds (greater than 667) affordable. This will dramatically help in rendering time. I’m not sure of your processor speed, but you would want something that was at least 2.0Ghz. Hope this helps.
